SANTA ANA, California – November 20, 2019 – Orange County’s Credit Union, a Santa Ana-based financial services provider with more than 116,000 Members, announced the addition of Andrew Oftelie to the Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee. Oftelie was appointed by the Credit Union’s Board of Directors in July for a three-year term from 2019-2022. He currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA). His long and distinguished tenure at OCTA brings a wealth of wide-ranging and strategic financial guidance to the Committee. Over 200 Orange County Credit Union Members and Associates participated in this year’s CHOC Walk in the Park on Aug. 11. This year, the annual scholarship program selected the four exceptional high school and college students based on academic performance, community service, and a personal essay. SANTA ANA, Calif. – June 5, 2019 – Orange County’s Credit Union, a Santa Ana-based financial services provider with more than 112,000 Members, raised over $4,000 to donate to CHOC Children’s Hospital (CHOC) at their latest Shred and e-Waste Day events in partnership with Williams Data Management and California Electronics Recycler. Over the course of two days, the Credit Union collected 24,470 pounds of paper and 10,020 pounds of electronics to safely recycle. Members of Orange County’s Credit Union had the option of attending the event at either the Orange County Employer Association location in Santa Ana or the Orange County’s Credit Union Santa Ana branch location off St. Andrew Place. SANTA ANA, Calif. – April 18, 2019 – Orange County’s Credit Union announced it was recently honored with the 2019 Peter Barron Stark Companies’ Award for Workplace Excellence, an award recognizing organizations that are committed to creating excellent company culture based upon employee feedback. Moreover, Peter Barron Stark Companies named the Credit Union one of the Best-of-the-Best organizations, a recognition given to those whose results exceed the Best-of-the-Best benchmark, which represents the top 25% of companies surveyed.
