Orange County’s Credit Union Expands Its Leadership Team With Two New Positions
Santa Ana-based Credit Union Adds New Chief Associate Experience Officer and VP of Enterprise Technology Services

SANTA ANA, Calif. – Feb. 17, 2021 – Orange County’s Credit Union, a Santa Ana-based financial services provider, adds two new leadership positions as part of its commitment to provide exceptional service to its 117,000 Members. Rebecca Bower is promoted to Chief Associate Experience Officer and new team member Raymond Lam joins as Vice President of Enterprise Technology Services.

“We’re always focused on the Member experience and how to continually raise the level of service we provide,” said CEO Shruti Miyashiro. “As we grow and the financial services landscape continues to evolve and become more complex, we recognize the needs of our Members, Associates, and community are changing. The creation of these new positions is part of our ongoing investment to ensure the highest standards of service across our footprint.”

As the newly promoted chief associate experience officer, Bower will lead the charge to attract, develop and retain top talent to Orange County’s Credit Union, as well as spearhead efforts to maintain a healthy, safe work environment. Bower has been with the Credit Union for nearly two years and previously served as the vice president of organizational development, where she enhanced internal communications, created a pilot cohort for Associates working remotely with young children at home, and prioritized retention of health insurance benefits.

For Lam, his new role as vice president of enterprise technology services is focused on planning, directing and managing data analytics and information security protocols, including the establishment of IT governance structures, and process improvement methodology at an enterprise level. He will serve as the top IT professional for the Credit Union, driving higher productivity, higher quality business outcomes and, ultimately, improved Member service. Lam has more than 20 years of experience and has been consulting at Orange County’s Credit Union since April 2020.

“Both team members have been impactful to our service commitment and focus on operational excellence. Rebecca has honored the core elements of our culture while making significant enhancements to support Associates throughout her time here,” said Miyashiro. “Ray has brought invaluable experience to lead our IT team. We’re delighted to have them as part of Orange County’s Credit Union’s leadership team.”
