Online Security

Premium security features to keep you and your finances safe online.

Encrypting Your Information

Online-Security-Icons-03.png

We use industry standard encryption to protect your personal information, such as your user name, password and account information, when it travels over the Internet. You can be sure your information is encrypted when the Internet address starts with "https://" and a lock symbol is shown in your web browser.

Our mobile applications use secure technology to protect you and your financial information. Some mobile features will be unavailable on devices that have been jailbroken, rooted, or contain malicious software.

Online Banking Safety

In order to further protect your account, we require two levels of authentication when you enroll in Online Banking with Orange County's Credit Union.

In addition to our strict authentication procedures, we also monitor accounts for abnormal transaction behaviors to help fraud mitigation. We keep you safe when you use Online Banking.

Secure Messaging

We encrypt the messages you send to us or we send to you through secure messaging in our online system. If you send us messages through other sources, they might not be secure unless we tell you before you send your information that we've put security measures in place. That's why we ask you not to send us confidential information, such as your Social Security number or account numbers, through unsecured email, text or other messaging systems. Instead, please use our secure messaging system or send the information to us through the US mail, contact us by phone, or visit one of our branches.

Linking To Other Companies' Websites

We aren't responsible for the online security practices of non-OCCU companies we link to from our websites and apps. In most cases, we link to these non-OCCU websites only to help you find more information about topics that interest you.

When you choose one of these links, we'll warn you that you're leaving our website and going to a site that might use different privacy policies and security standards than we do.
