Auto Loan Sweepstakes Official Rules 



Every participant age 18 and over, who obtains a funded auto loan with Orange County's Credit Union with a minimum amount of $15,000, or who submits an alternate entry, will have an equal chance of winning. Joining the Credit Union will not improve a Member's chance of winning. 

WEEKLY PRIZES: There will be a total of 12 winners who will receive an Amazon Echo Auto. 12 winners, one selected each week beginning the week of October 5, 2020 and the final winner drawn the week of December 21, 2020. Each winner will receive an Amazon Echo Auto ($49.99 value). Members will be entered into the drawing once auto loan has funded. Limit one prize per person from either prize category. 

GRAND PRIZES: There will be a total of one grand prize winner who will receive a $500 gift of their choice as a Target gift card, gas gift card, or Mastercard® gift card. Members will be entered into the drawing at funding of auto loan. Limit one prize per person from either prize category. 

CONSUMER DISCLOSURE: Odds of winning are based upon the number of entries. 

SPONSOR: Orange County's Credit Union ('the Credit Union') is the sponsor of the sweepstakes. The Credit Union's business address is 1701 E. St. Andrew Pl., Santa Ana, CA 92705. 

SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: Sweepstakes begins on October 1, 2020 and ends on December 31, 2020 ('Sweepstakes Period'). All qualifying funded auto loans must be completed, and all mail-in entries must be received by 11:59 pm on December 31, 2020. 

ELIGIBILITY: Officials and employees of the Credit Union, its affiliates, related advertising and promotional agencies, and their immediate family members and members of the same household of such employees are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. To qualify for the Sweepstakes, all entrants must be at least 18 years of age and U.S. residents. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Credit Union. Sweepstakes void where prohibited by law. 

SWEEPSTAKES ENTRIES: Any eligible individual whose Orange County's Credit Union auto loan funds during the period of October 1, 2020-December 31, 2020, will automatically be entered into the Sweepstakes. One entry per person by any method. There are two (2) ways to enter the Sweepstakes. First, you may enter the Sweepstakes by obtaining a funded auto loan from Orange County's Credit Union with a minimum amount of $15,000. Auto loan must be funded by December 31, 2020. Alternatively, you may legibly print your name, address (including zip code), and home or mobile telephone number (including area code) on a 3' x 5' piece of paper or card and mail it in a #10 business envelope to Orange County's Credit Union, Attention: Member Engagement & Communications Department, 1701 E. St. Andrew Pl., Santa Ana, CA 92705. If a mailed-in entry form is drawn, but the Credit Union is unable to determine the winner because of illegible writing, that entry form will be disqualified. No copies or mechanical reproductions of a mail-in entry or metered mail will be accepted. Proof of mailing does not constitute proof of delivery/receipt. The Credit Union is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, damaged, postage-due, or illegible entries. Once submitted, entries become the sole property of the Credit Union and will not be acknowledged or returned. 

WEEKLY PRIZE DRAWING: For the weekly Amazon Echo drawings, one winning entry will be selected by random drawing from all entries received each week outlined below. Entries remain in the drawing through the end of the Sweepstakes period. Once a winner is pulled they will be removed from the sweepstakes and cannot win twice. One winner will be drawn during each of the weeks listed below:

GRAND PRIZE DRAWING: For the grand prize winner of a $500 gift of their choice, one winning entry will be selected by random drawing from all remaining entries received by December 31, 2020. All entries remain in the drawing through the end of the Sweepstakes period except for those who won a weekly prize. Weekly prize winners will be removed from the sweepstakes and cannot win twice. The winner of the Grand Prize will be drawn the week of January 11, 2021. 

All prize drawings will occur at the Orange County's Credit Union Headquarters in Santa Ana, CA. Winner need not be present to win and will be notified by phone. Winner must have the ability to pick up prize in one of our branches. Winner forfeits prize if not claimed within 30 (thirty) calendar days from drawing. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. A complete list of winner(s) will be available at all Credit Union offices. The Credit Union is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by tampering, hacking, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with the Sweepstakes. Prizes cannot be substituted, assigned, or transferred by winners. The Credit Union reserves the right to disqualify entrants who fail to follow these Official Rules or who make any misrepresentations relative to the Sweepstakes and redemption of a prize. 

TAX ISSUES: The Credit Union will report all prize winnings to the appropriate state and federal agencies as required by applicable law. The winners are responsible for all tax consequences (if any) of the prizes. 

PUBLICITY AUTHORIZATION: The winners agree to permit the Credit Union to utilize their names and likenesses in promotional and other Credit Union materials, without additional compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law. 

LIABILITY: Entrant agrees to hold the Credit Union and its officers, directors, employees and representatives harmless from any liability arising from the participation in the Sweepstakes, the prizes themselves, or the acceptance, receipt, possession, or use/misuse of the prizes. 

CHOICE OF LAW: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and the Credit Union in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of California, without regard to choice of law rules. 

ARBITRATION: Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, entrant agrees that any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by final binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and held at the AAA regional office nearest the sponsor. Judgement upon such arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorney's fees, other than entrant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with entering Sweepstakes), and entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
